Psychotherapist

Philosophy
I believe that our environments play a critical role in our ability to grow, make change, and flourish. This includes the environments we were born into, structures that keep us there, and the therapeutic environment I bring into the mix. My goal as a therapist, and my passion as a person, is to create a safe space for my clients to learn to express themselves, create goals to actualize the life they want, and celebrate all the successes along the way.

I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, and I prioritize focusing on multiculturalism. To me this means I view you as the expert of your own life, accept you as you are— where you are— and do my best to see the world how you see it. I utilize a variety of evidence based therapy modalities including: Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I center our therapeutic work around what you value. It’s my goal that, through identification of your values, you learn not only more about yourself but ways to create meaningful paths through life, and approach challenges with flexibility and openness.

Education and credentials
In 2019, I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. In 2023, I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I began practicing that same year and completed my Licensed Professional Counselor Candidacy in October of 2025 making me a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma on October 4th, 2025.

Professional experience
After graduating with my Master’s degree in 2023, I began working in a community mental health organization. While working in this setting, I gained experience working with individuals experiencing major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia and schizophrenia-spectrum disorder, bipolar I and II disorders, and more with a majority of my experience being with major depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress.
