Karli Altenbern, MA, NCC, LPC Candidate, E-RYT
Psychotherapist
Philosophy
The world we exist in impacts our mental and physical well-being. A holistic approach to mental health involves looking at an individual’s overall health and environment. The therapy space can be so much more than talking about our feelings—it is an opportunity to integrate and embody what we feel and enact empowered change.
Karli operates from a relational-cultural perspective and weaves in elements of psychodynamic theory, neuroscience, and somatic/body-based interventions into her work with clients. In session, Karli aims to hold compassionate space, helping each client discover the right tools and skills for their own self-exploration and self-soothing. Karli values her role as an advocate for clients both in and beyond the counseling space.
