Anna Craycraft PhD

Co-Founder & Psychotherapist

Philosophy
In her work as a therapist, Anna has come to believe that relationships are primary sources of both suffering and fulfillment. Our families, communities, and systems shape us, just as we influence those around us. Sometimes our relationships and experiences bring about stress, pain, and trauma that negatively influence our daily lives. Anna’s goal is to partner with her clients to alleviate suffering and foster self-examination, meaning making, and change. She values the courage it takes to explore suffering with honesty and vulnerability. Anna seeks to make the therapy room a safe place for clients to engage with the joy, frustration, and messiness that result from efforts toward growth.

Education
Anna earned her BA in Psychology at Cedarville University in Ohio. She obtained an MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Fuller School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA. Anna completed her clinical internship and post-doctoral fellowship at The Danielsen Institute at Boston University. Her internship and fellowship provided training in long-term relational psychotherapy with trauma survivors. This training also focused on partnering with clients to achieve integrated physical, psychological, social, and spiritual wellness.

Professional Experience
After completing her post-doctoral fellowship, Anna moved to Oklahoma and began working as a licensed clinical psychologist (#1233) in 2015. She currently works part-time as a staff psychologist at the Oklahoma City VA. Her work at the VA focuses LGBT healthcare coordination. Anna has worked extensively with individual adults, couples, and adolescents in psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation.
